Pantry staples are essential for quick and easy meals and having a few sauces on hand will ensure you can always enhance flavor, add moisture and create complexity in any dish. In this hands-on workshop you will create and learn to preserve homemade sauces to enjoy all season long. Lexy Baird will teach us scientifically based water-bath canning methods that can be used on a range on ingredients. Get ready to concoct and go home with pantry sauce staples like barbeque sauce and taco sauce as well as recipes for basic tomato sauce and tomato paste.
